Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Blue Ocean Explorer ("the Service") is operated by SelectWise Consulting Limited, a company registered in England & Wales ("we", "us"). By creating a workspace or subscribing, you ("you") agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. The subscription
The Service is offered on a single flat plan — $149 per month, billed in advance, granting unlimited industry explorations and access to all included data sources for the duration of an active subscription. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice; changes never affect a billing period you have already paid for.
3. Billing & cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal — access continues until the end of the paid period, after which the workspace is locked. Because the plan is delivered immediately and consumed on use, monthly fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to resell, scrape, or programmatically extract the Service in bulk; not to attempt to access the underlying prompts, pipeline, or another workspace's data; and not to use the Service unlawfully or to overload the infrastructure. We may suspend a workspace that breaches these terms.
5. The analysis — what it is and isn't
The Service synthesises publicly available data through strategy frameworks to surface candidate opportunities. It is decision-support, not professional, financial, legal, or investment advice, and it carries no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or outcome. Upstream data sources can be incomplete or unavailable; where a source fails we say so rather than fabricate. You are responsible for validating any insight before acting on it.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its pipeline, and its prompts remain our property. The reports generated from your explorations are yours to use within your business. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to operate and improve the Service. Public teaser pages expose only aggregate counts — never the full analysis.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for business decisions made on the basis of an analysis. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
